9 Erick Lindgren Las Vegas, NV, USA $20,450

–Anthony Reategui blasted a world class table to smithereens. One of the two previous unknowns at the table, Tony caught every hand he entered no matter how big a dog. The most memorable was when Tony called 106k with two players all-in ahead of him. Tony had pocket 9's which not surprisingly was the third worst hand. No worries. The 9 came on the turn.

The last hand, Reategui had the best hand and that held up as well. Tony had the A 2 of Diamonds. Paul Kroh had the K Q of Diamonds. Ace high was golden. In fact everything was golden for Reategui in one of the most dominating performances in WSOP history. He's not an unknown from Chandler AZ anymore.

11:55

One more double up by Paul Kroh and we will have ourselves a horserace. Tony Reategui will know fear for the first time tonight. There is nothing scarier than having a lock win slip away. In Tunica this year, Gary Jones had a 350k to 5k lead heads up over Sirous Baghchehsaraie and he lost.

Tony is grinding Paul down as he should. It's back to a 10-1 chip lead for Tony.

11:45

"i haven't looked," Phil Gordon said as he called the obligitory 100k button bet from Tony Reategui. Tony turned over A 6. Phil had J 8. Bye, Phil. "Whoop," yelled Paul Kroh. He just made $71,000. Heads up it's not close, about 10-1 chip dog for Kroh.

Kroh doubles up, with an Ace on the flop, to 250k. It's not over yet.

11:25

Ten minute break between levels. Tony Reategui is doing what he should as the massive chip leader. He's raising almost every hand with enough to put either blind all-in. Neither Kroh or Gordon can afford to call without a monster as it could cost them second place.

11:15

Playing for second with Reategui have over 80% of the chips, Paul Kroh and Phil Gordon have just made a fortune by not playing any hands. Kroh has about 80k and Gordon has 40k. The difference between second and third place money is $71,000.

11:00

What a hand! Pocket Kings. Pocket Jacks. Pocket 9's. Kenny Robbins with the Kings goes all-in and is called by Ted Lawson with Jacks. Nothing unusual. Then Tony Reategui, who has been dreaming cards all night counted Robbins down. 106k. Ok, Tony said I'll call. He had the nines. Three hearts on the flop to give Tony the only heart draw. But a 9 came on the turn. Tony knocks out two more players with an under pair.

Lawson was 6th. Kenny Robbins was 5th.

Then on the next hand, Magic Tony does it again. He knocks out Young Phan with a running diamond flush on the river for 4th place. A 9 for Young. K Q for Tony with the King of Diamonds.

10:55

"There's a 4 in the deck," Phil Gordon said. He had the K 4 of Diamonds all-in with a strug. Dariush Imani read Phil right and called with K 9 of Spades. There WAS a 4 in the deck and it came on the river to give Imani enough money for a nice suit in 7th. Three out beat.

A few hands later someone finally beat Tony Reategui, but Paul Kroh had to be dominated to win. Paul went all-in from the cutoff with K Q offsuit. Tony had A K. Paul made a miracle straight with the J 10 9 came.

10:45

Tony Reategui continues to goof on this table like he's playing with kids. "Don't go home curious," Tony taunted Dariush Imani with a bet on the river that would put Imani all-in if called. "Call, you've got a job," Tony said. Imani couldn't pull the trigger with a board of A 10 3 9 8. Robbins called a clock on Imani and he folded.

Tony's from Chandler AZ so he's played a lot of poker.

Two hands later Allen Goldstein thought Reategui was fooling around too much. Allen reraised Tony's button raise all-in with pocket 9's. Tony called instantly with pocket Queens. No fooling around. Tony Reategui has over half the chips on the table and Allen Goldstein is a stunned 8th.

10:35

When Reategui made it 10k to go under the gun, only Paul Kroh in the big blind called. The flop came A 6 6. Paul checked and Tony bet 77k. After several minutes Paul Kroh showed an Ace and folded. Amazing read or gutless laydown. We won't know because this isn't a TV table.

10:25

Kenny Robbins raises. D Imani goes all-in for an extra 9,5k. K 10 for Imani and he doubles up against a 5 2 steal attempt from Robbins.

As chip leader, Tony Reategui has taken over the aggressor role from Allen Goldstein.

10:15

Alan Goldstein raises and Ted Lawson reraises all-in. A Q suited vs A Q offsuit. Will there be a flush, nope. Chop it up. That's what passes for excitement sometimes.

10:05

Erick Lindgren said, "It was suited. I didn't feel like waiting." Erick's A 7 and an all-in 51,5k was called by Anthony Reategui with Q 10 suited. The Queen hit to send Lindgren out in 9th. There were three shorter stacks when Lindgren went all-in with his suited cards.

9:55

Chip counts:

Lindgren, 60,5
Robbins, 114,5
Imani, 15
Phan 50,0
Goldstein, 346,0
Lawson, 81,0
Kroh, 100,0
Reategui, 356,5
Gordon, 50,5

500 ante, 2k/4k blinds

9:35

Imani raises all-in for an extra 4,800 and he is called by Phil Gordon. Imani doubles up when Phil can't catch up to Dariush's A J of Clubs.

Paul Kroh went all-in over the top of Young Phan and got no call on hand 52.

15 minute break.

9:25

Dariush Imani let Allen Goldstein have a free card on the turn and it cost him 40k. Goldstein bet when he caught his gutshot straight on the river. Hand 47 coming up with a few more minutes in this level.

Young Phan called an all-in by Dariush Imani for his case 40k. Young had A J offsuit. Imani turned over pocket 8's. Young felt better when he made Aces full.

9:15

Paul Kroh immitated Allen Goldstein going all-in from the small blind over four limpers. He shows pocket 3's and wipes his brow when all fold.

On the next hand, Anthony G tried to trap Allen G with a full house check on the river 4's full. Goldstein didn't bite.

9:05

I'm not going to hype this for you. It's dull. No showdowns, but checked ones, few calls. With the average stack at about 40 big blinds, there is no reason not to wait. Now at hand 40.

8:55

The poker royalty has entered the arena to sweat Lindgren. Hellmuth, Negreanu and Arieh. That means they have all been knocked out of the Limit event. No action at the table, however, as any bet ends the hand.

8:45

Kenny Robbins as the total of the avid fans with two. The rest of the sparse crowd don't seem to have a favorite. Johnny Grooms just asked if Phil Gordon was going to play a hand. Phil got up to loosen his diapers.

8:35

Allen Goldstein remains the man. His raises and reraises are being respected with mucks.

8:25

Back to sleep after some intense action at the start.

8:15

New level now 90 minutes each. 400 ante, 1,5k/3k blinds.

Allen Goldstein plays chip bully, going all-in for 320k over three limpers. No call.

8:05

Kenny Robbins check-calls Allen Goldstein to the river and turns over a paired Jack on the flop for a nice pot. Allen mucked.

7:55

Lawson all-in for 30k on a reraise of Young Phan's 6k. Phan calls. 6's for Ted, 9's for Young. K 5 3 on the flop. Turn is a 5. SIX! on the river. Wow!

Lawson all-in again, no calls.

7:45

On Hand 4 there's action.

K K 8 flop. Kroh and Robbins. Kenny bets 8k on the flop after Paul checks. Paul calls. Turn 10h. Check, bet 22k by Robbins. Paul Kroh folds.

Next hand, Keith Quilty goes all-in for 30k. He's called by Paul Kroh. A 6 for Keith Quilty. K Q by Paul Kroh. With a King on the river, Keith was sucked out on by a six outer.

6:15

Allen Goldstein went all-in as the second chip leader with pocket 7's. Chris McCormack naturally called all-in with pocket Aces. "Pai Gow," Allen yelled as the 7 he needed hit the flop. Shocked could best describe the face of Chris McCormack out in 11th. We head to the Final Table. They are going on dinner break now. Back at 7:30.

Seat Player Chips
1 Erick Lindgren 74,500
2 Kenny Robbins 116,200
3 Keith Quilty 33,300
4 Dariush Imani 67,900
5 Young Phan 79,500
6 Allen Goldstein 287,000
7 Ted Lawson 35,400
8 Paul Kroh 80,000
9 Anthony Reategui 284,900
10 Phil Gordon 85,000

5:35

We are doing our imitation of Mount Rushmore National Park. These guys are granite. They won't defend their blinds. It's bet and take it. We only need to lose one more to get to the Final Table, but we have no volunteers. It's going to be a long night with this crew.

4:55

Brett Jungblut won the first level Table of Death, then no piece of cake to get here from the second. But 12 handed he picked up A K versus A A held by Chris McCormack. Then, on the next hand, Jungblut goes all-in for 22k with J 9 suited only to run into J J from Allen Goldstein. That's a tough way to go after so much work yesterday.

11 handed now.

Table Seat Player
125-1 Anthony Reategui
125-2 Paul Kroh
125-3 Kenny Robbins
125-4 Erick Lindgren
125-5 Keith Quilty
125-6 Dariush Imani

136-1 Ted Lawson
136-2 Chris McCormack
136-3 Young Phan
136-4 Phil Gordon
136-5 Allen Goldstein

3:45

Well that qualifies as a two big hands. Alan Goehring flopped a set of Kings. Anthony Reategui flopped a flush. The board didn't pair, so the former WPT champ is the first out in 13th. Ouch!

3:25
Nothing is happening. Still 13 handed on the two tables. The blinds are going up, but not enough to induce action. Only two big hands at the same time will get someone to the rail with these rocks.

2:35
The two table 13 handed Day 2 of the No Limit Shootout started a little late. The ante is 100. The blinds are 400/800. Sixty minute levels until we reach the Final Table. Each player started with 90k so this will take awhile.

Table Seat Player
125-1 Anthony Reategui
125-2 Paul Kroh
125-3 Kenny Robbins
125-4 Alan Goehring
125-5 Keith Quilty

136-2 Erick Lindgren
136-3 Chris McCormack
136-4 Bret Jungblut

Two guys with reputations to defend and lots of chips coughed it up in the last two tables of play tonight. It got too crazy for James Worth. He'd lead big, then was down big. He fought his way back to nearly even when he picked up pocket 5's on the button. He went all-in and was called by Q 10. With a 10 on the turn, James was Worth 2nd place money.

Former tennis pro, Yevgeny Kafelnikov is playing great for a newbie to the pro circuit. But tonight he was up two sets to love when his recquet came undstrung. Yevgeny lost a tie-breaker in the fifth set for 2nd place money as well.

Tomorrow at 2 pm, I'll take these 13 table winner all the way to the Final Table. My vacation is over. I now will be doing the FT's for the rest of the WSOP 2005. It's been fun seeing all the players as they begin their days, full of hope. Now I get to watch which ones make all the money.

My thanks to PokerDan for his help up until now. He is leaving for Harvard tommorow and he will probably never talk to us riffraff again.

In his place, the PokerPages Team welcomes 'The Mike Paulle of Australia' Chris Newton. He will do the name dropping game each day.

See you tomorrow.

–11:55

Young Phan did a Barry Greenstein, 'Ace On The River.' Young called Cecilia Reyes' all-in heads up with A J. Senora de Mortensen had pocket Queens.

Mr. Traniello finally lost a few hands. He didn't win his table, Kenny Robbins did.

–11:45

Peter Costa made a straight. No good. Ted Lawson made a flush.

Chris Tsiprailidis finished third disgustedly.

Yevgeny Kavelnikov has a massive chip lead heads up.

As does James Worth at his table.

Young Phan and Cecilia Reyes are still at a three handed table.

–11:35

Brett Jungblut came from 5-1 down to win his table. The key hand was an A 10 vs and A 8. There was a 10 on board.

–11:15

The seige has been broken. Alan Goehring duplicated his victory over Kirill Gerasimov in the WPT 1 Championship.

My error, Chris T is three handed.

If Young Phan is at the table it will take forever. Paul Wolfe was 4th, leaving Reyes and Phan three handed.

–10:55

Lindgren took out Storakers. Gordon finished off Talebi.

Jungblut and Tsiprailidis are still heads up against players I don't know.

In the battle of the titans, Goehring and Gerasimov are replaying the Siege of Leningrad.

–10:45

Allen Goldstein and Paul Kroh won their tables. They get to come back tomorrow and play for more money.

The hottest guy in the business, Marco Traniello with five money finishes, is heads up.

Chris Tsiprailidis is also heads up.

James Worth, the KrazyKanuke, is three handed. Sam Arzoin is out.

Rodeen Talebi and Phil Gordon are heads up.

Johan Storakers and Erick Lindgren are heads up.

–10:25

Tables

128 Hayden 5th

131 Alson 4th

133 Sewell 3rd, Allen Goldstein is heads up.

141 Paez 3rd, Paul Kroh is heads up with a 3-2 chip lead.

–10:05

Going a break to color off the 100's.

Annie Duke is out 5th at her table 10's vs Kings behind her.

Mike 'Shoes' Gambony was 4th at his table.

Kirill Gerasimov and Alan Goehring are heads up at their table in a rerrun of the first WPT Championship that Alan won.

Melissa Hayden flopped two pair with Q's and 9's vs A Q. An Ace came.

Michael Mizrachi was 5th at his table. Charlie Sewell crippled the Grinder with a flush and Michael Gambony knocked his short stack out with A 4 suited vs A 3 all-in pre-flop. The 4 hit.

Minh Nguyen was 4th at his table.

–9:35

Don Barton was 5th at his table.

Noah Boeken slammed the table then he did it again before mucking his hand. "I could beat the King" was all he said. Paul Kroh showed Noah the K 3 of Clubs and a flush on the river. Boeken floated out in 4th.

–9:15

John Juanda went out with pocket Jacks vs A 7 in the big blind held by Peter Costa. John bet 2k on the flop of 8 6 5. Peter raised all-in on the opened straight draw and John called. Costa made the straight.

Jay Heimowitz had pocket Aces vs the A Q of Clubs by Rodeen Talebi. The flop came with the K 10 of Clubs. Talebi called the all-in and made the flush on his gutshot royal draw.

These are still the only two names out as we near the end of the first hour.

–8:25

John Juanda and Jay Heimowitz are both out first at their tables to get 6th place money. They all have 15k in chips playing one hour levels. The first blinds were 200/300 or 50 big blinds.

–8:15

These are the players I recognize in the second level.

Poker camps show full house — but are they a good bet? (CBS Market Watch)
COMMERCE, Calif. (MarketWatch) — If you’re playing Texas Hold ‘Em and the three cards dealt face-up in front of you are all the same suit, what’s one thing you should absolutely avoid doing? People are paying upwards of $1,500 a piece to learn how to handle uestions like these at poker boot camps, underscoring the nation's newfound fascination with an old game.

Barry Greenstein

Final Table Placings

1 Barry Greenstein Rancho Palo Verde, CA, USA $128,505
2 Paul Vinci Shell Beach, CA, USA $70,680
3 Chris Lindenmayer Pickerington, OH, USA $36,140
4 Toto Leonidas Glendale, CA, USA $28,110
5 Tim Martz Butte, MT, USA $24,110
6 Paul Maxfield Stoke on Trent, Staffordshire, United Kingdom $20,080
7 Chris Ferguson Pacific Palisades, CA, USA $16,065
8 Sam Silverman Las Vegas, NV, USA $12,045
9 Eric Bloore North Hollywood, CA, USA $8,030

Barry Greenstein raised Paul Vinci all-in on the last hand. Barry had A K 10 5 with the A K of Diamonds. Paul had Q J 8 8 double suited. The flop came with the A K to give Paul only five outs that never arrived. Barry can now go see if he has any chips left in the $5k Pot Limit Hold'em. Also, Barry's son was near the chip lead at the dinner break of the $5k.

Barry dedicated this win to a sick man in Tennessee. If the prize money goes to this terminally ill person or not, we haven't heard yet.

9:25

When Paul Vinci went all-in for his last 18k, Barry Greenstein finally found an amount he would fade. Paul had A 9 9 5 and caught a 9 on the river to crack the Kings that Barry flopped with his K 8 7 4.

On the hand before, just to show you how tight Barry is playing in this spot, Barry failed to call the big blind from the small for 3k.

9:15

Barry Greenstein is so experienced at this type of heads up play, he won't double Paul Vinci up. He's just using his stack to wear Paul down. Barry has twice already refused to call Paul's all-in bets even with a gigantic chip lead.

9:05

In a huge piece of irony, Barry Greenstein got the title of his new book, "Ace On The River" to get Paul Vinci to call with A's and 5's. What was ironic was that Barry didn't need the Ace. He had his own and a wheel on the turn with his A 4 and a board of 2 3 7 5. Vinci called 50k on the turn drawing nearly dead and 100k on the river completely killed. Barry now has 400k to 34k.

8:55

Now that they are heads up, the average stack zooms up at 217k and it's again a high multiple of the 6k big blind. The two gents wanted to play through, so Jack Effel will have to go hungry.

It's been back and forth with neither pulling away early. Barry hasn't told anyone whether he will donate the $128k first prize if he wins it. Sometimes he feels the money is too small to donate. So we'll have to wait for the winner to find out. One thing for sure, Paul Vinci is going to donate his share to Paul Vinci.

8:35

Our director is starving so he's going to try to get these three guys to take a dinner break in a few minutes.

Make that two guys. The tightest player in the universe, Chris Lindenmayer–who a couple of times threw away his unraised big blind rather than see a flop and get into trouble–is out in 3rd. It took perfect perfect to get Chris out to no one's surprise. Chris flopped top set with Q Q 7 4. The flop was K Q 5. Paul Vinci had A K 9 6. The turn was a 6 and the river was the only card that could defeat Chris Lindenmayer, a King for Kings full of 6's over Queens full of Kings.

Heads up it's 218k for Vinci and 216 for Greenstein.

8:25

On the next hand Toto and Barry went at it again. This time Barry went all-in on the turn with the top set of Jacks. Toto called all-in with a flush and straight draw that failed. In two hands Barry Greenstein wiped out the chip leader.

Paul Vinci 109k
Barry Greenstein 268k
Chris Lindenmayer 57k

I win the Media pool. They should know better than bet against the old master of poker.

8:15

Four handed the action has vanished. Any bet takes it.

Opps, as soon as I typed those words Barry Greenstein went all-in kon the flop against Toto Leonidas and was called. Barry had K K 10 4 with diamonds. The flop was 7 4 2. Toto had called with 8 7 6 6 and baby diamonds. When the 5 of Diamonds came on the turn, Toto was left with a one card straight flush draw. Barry was paid of the extra 55k to double up Greenstein.

8:05

When Tim Martz reraised to 30k in the big blind, Toto reraised Tim all-in for Martz' extra 15k. Someone was going to be hurt bad, because Toto only had 7k more himself. No surprise, Leonidas had A A with K J suited spades. Tim Martz stuck in his last 15k all-in with A Q J 10 and clubs.
The board came J 8 4 2 8 to give the man who sent Phil Hellmuth into orbit 6th place.

After surviving five all-ins with four wins on the river, the ultra-patient Toto Leonidas is the chip leader. What a lesson in tournament play.

Paul Vinci 125k
Barry Greenstein 120k
Toto Leonidas 135k
Chris Lindenmayer 75k

7:55

Toto has turned aggressive not that he isn't scraping the felt. He just reraised Barry Greenstein's raise on the button from the big blind. No call. It's a five way fight again.

7:45

Toto remains king of the river catching a 6 for A's and 6's. Paul Vinci had an Ace as well with three overcards to the 6. No good.

Then on an interesting hand, Barry Greenstein bet 30k on a flop of 9 7 6 with two clubs. Paul wanted to calll, but he couldn't get himself to pull the trigger.

7:35

A five minute break turned into 20 minutes as we lost our tournament director.

Chip counts five handed. Still at 2k2/4k for another hour.

Paul Vinci 138k
Barry Greenstein 122k
Tim Martz 65k
Toto Leonidas 18k
Chris Lindenmayer 95k

On the first hand back, Toto flops a full house to double up.

7:15

'It's all about the wheel,' is the line that's floating through press row. Toto Leonidas went all-in again for his case 10k this time. He had J J 4 2. Tim Martz called the extra 6k from the big blind with Q J 10 6 and better diamonds. The flop came with the killer card for Toto, the Queen. But an A 3 also flopped. Jack Effel said he needed a 5 for a wheel. The turn, 5.

Another quick potty break. Do these guys have diabetes?

7:05

Toto allowed half his stack to evaporate with the blinds. On the button he found the hand he was waiting for, A A K 5. Paul Vinci had to call the 3k extra from the big blind with 7 7 6 6. Paul got the 7 on the flop, but although Toto was a little dog to trips, he caught perfect perfect for a wheel on the river to stay in Las Vegas.

6:55

They've decided to play through their dinner break. Doesn't make me mad, which will surprise Max Shapiro. The new level is 2k/4k with a raise to 8k/14k.

Paul Vinci 110k
Barry Greenstein 100k
Tim Martz 90k
Toto Leonidas 13k
Chris Lindenmayer 90k

6:45

Paul Vinci just got a thrill. He raised Tim Martz the pot, 27k, on a flop of A 10 3 rainbow. Tim asked Paul how much he had left. 33,5k was the answer. Tim didn't call.

Toto and Paul are at it again. The board came J 8 8 2 J. Toto bluffed 4k on the river and Paul called with K J. "You got me," Toto said before Paul could show him the Jack. Leonidas is down to 10k.

6:35

It looks like a Toto watch. He's the short stack. I'm watching him because if Paul Vinci outlasts Toto, I win the Media pool.

6:25

"King," Paul Maxfield yelled. It was a club for a runner runner flush. In a battle of the Paul's Vinci called Maxfield's all-in for the extra 4,500 with Ac Qd 7c 3d. Maxfield had the A K of Spades with 10 6. The board came 6 4 4 with one club. 8 of Clubs on the turn. 9 of Clubs on the river. Maxfield can go to the loo by himself, now, in 6th.

6:15

Paul Maxfield is starting to move his chips as a short stack. He just went all-in over the top of Paul Vinci to force a lay down.

Tim Martz continues to be the only player at the table who will stand up to Barry Greenstein. Tim just went pot on the turn after a check on a board of Q 7 4 5. Barry, who had been raising most hands and streets, had to fold.

6:05

Barry Greenstein, the Robin Hood of Poker, is robbing the rich again. He's road grading this fairly high class table. It's a good thing for him he's winning because he's being blinded of in the $5k event that started today. He asked me how much he had left in that game. 13k was the last look.

Paul Vinci 59k
Paul Maxfield 31k
Barry Greenstein 165k
Tim Martz 82k
Toto Leonidas 25k
Chris Lindenmayer 71k

5:45

They are taking an unscheduled 15 minute break so Paul Maxfield can go to the loo.

5:25

Chip counts in seat order:

Paul Vinci 74k
Paul Maxfield 43k
Barry Greenstein 92k
Tim Martz 88k
Toto Leonidas 56k
Chris Lindenmayer 82k

5:15

Chris Ferguson could have gone back to the big game, the $5k Pot Limit Hold'em he entered. But Chris busted out of that one early. He's now free for the rest of the day, as he's out of the Pot Limit Omaha in 7th. In a battle of the Chris', Lindenmeyer flopped two pair with 8's 2's to Ferguson's pair of 10's. No prayers to dad got Ferguson a second pair.

5:05

The new 90 minute level 7 handed is 1,5k/3k blinds. 6k to 10,5k bring in.

Barry Greenstein RPV, CA $85,000 SEAT 5:
Tim Martz Butte, MT $75,000 SEAT 6:
Paul Maxfield Stoke-on-Trent, England $45,000 SEAT 4:
Paul Vinci Shell Beach, CA $65,000 SEAT 3:
Toto Leonidas Los Angeles, CA $60,000 SEAT 7:
Chris Lindenmayer Pickerington, OH $20,000 SEAT 9:
Chris Ferguson Pacific Palisades, CA $10,000 SEAT 1:

4:55

Paul Vinci laid down bottom set to Toto Leonidas' bet on the turn when 7 8 9 came.

4:45

That how you win poker tournaments. Paul Vinci hit a two out Ace on the turn when he called Sean Silverman's all-in bet on the flop. Sean had hit trip 8's with 8 8 2 on the flop. Sean had 8 7 6 5 to Paul's A A 7 7. Like Leonardo, Vinci drew the perfect picture with his Ace on the turn. The other 8 was dead the table said so Silverman was 8th. Heartbreaking beat for Sean's first WSOP table.

BTW, I hereby disown Chris Newton as the 'Mike Paulle of Australia.'

4:35

Phil Hellmuth's favorite donkey, Tim Martz is the only one who's stood up to the Barry Greenstein steamroller so far. When Barry checked the turn of a second King, Tim bet 19k and Barry folded.

4:25

Barry Greenstein continues to be on fire as he was last night. The shortest stack, Eric Blore reraised all-in for 16k over Barry's 7k bet and call.
Barry turned over A 5 2 2 with spades. Eric had A K 10 9 with clubs and hearts. The board came K 6 3 with one spade. 6 of Spades on the turn and…Deuce on the river for a full house. Blore was blue in 9th.

4:15

The prize pool was miscalucated, so that caused the delay. Jack Effel, the events director, had to eat the overpayment difference of $3,120. Ready to go with 45 minutes to go in the 1k/2k level. 4k to 7k is the bring in for this pot level.

Final Table in chip order

3:55

There has been some delay. I'm trying to find out why. I hope it's not to give Barry Greenstein and Chris Ferguson more time to waste the $5,000 they paid for the Pot Limit Hold'em they entered.

3:15

8 Allen Goldstein Houston, TX, USA $25,835

Erick Lindgren won the Table of Death #1.

Other name winners, the cream really came to the top today as the stars shown.

Ted Lawson, Paul Wolfe, John Myung, Michael Mizrachi, Annie Duke, Marco Traniello, Alan Goehring, John Juanda, Johan Storakers, Rodeen Talebi, Raul Paez, Charlie Sewell, Phil Gordon, Hoan Ly (won yesterday as well), Sam Arzoin, Noah Boeken, Peter Alson (go writers!), Peter Costa, Nash Rizk (my favorite poker name), DAvid Pham, Jesse Jones, Don Barton, Kirill Gerasimov, Paul Kroh, Minh Nguyen, JC Tran, Shoes, Melissa Hayden.

Heads us: Seed vs J Heimowitz
Jeff Rine three handed
Chris Tsiprailidis going for 2nd win in two days
Louis Asmo
Ruth Graham
Allen Kessler
Brett Jungblut (also going for 2)

And the most amazing table of the day, five players remain at one table. Patrick Heneghan and James Worth are in that group.

–4:15

On break. I'll get you some of the name table winners in a few minutes.

–3:15

Lastest name survivors as the tables start to have winners. Jennifer Harman just went out from the 'Table of Death.'
